I'm completely with him on this one. When it comes to religion, I don't really debate people because there is SOOO much in scripture that is overlooked, misunderstood, and then communicated with a distorted view. Many times people will use the bible as a sword, to take a stand against what the believe to be sins of all sins. It is a wisdom issue. I like tattoos as pieces of art and when they mean something to the person who has them. I have a few of my own, and each one with a significant meaning. My pastor has one that I can see. I don't like them as a trend. YES TO TATTOOS.Just my opinion.-Chymere A.
Thanks for your input!I somewhat agree with you. I think the problem is that tattoos have been associated with negative culture for so long that it seems obvious to not even look into it for yourself.1 Corinthians 6:12 states, “Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is beneficial”. Are tattoos beneficial? Do they give glory to God? I don't know. However I think that believers should work on their OWN salvation because everyone has different convictions! We need to use wisdom and discernment regarding these things. -x.
